Food Security Workshop: Raw Material Risk Assessment, Testing and Supplier Management

Please note – registration for this event is only available for new and existing food and drink manufacturers based in Wales, not for related organisations, consultants or students.

Technical team members, raw material technologists, HACCP team members, supply chain managers, QA and technical managers.

Food Security Workshop : Raw material risk assessment, testing and supplier management

The workshop covers the following:

· Raw material risk assessment, criteria and methodologies

· Raw material testing resources

· Types of suppliers

· Link between raw material risk assessment and supplier approval

· Supplier approval including, initial, ongoing, outsource process supplier, service suppliers

· Supplier performance review

· Supply chain mapping

These interactive workshops will be held at ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre in Cardiff.

Whilst these workshops form a series, you can attend individual workshops to suit your business needs.

Attendance costs

Depending on your company size and eligibility, attendance at these workshops can be partially or fully funded.

The cost for each delegate attending the workshop will vary depending on the size of the company they work for. This is determined by Welsh Government funding regulations.

In the workshop registration form, you will be asked to provide company Subsidy Control information for the past three years and confirm the size of your company. Please refer to your finance business team to ensure this information is accurate as it may be subject to audit.
