SALSA Audit Ready Workshop

Please note – Registration for this event is only available for new and existing food and drink manufacturers based in Wales, not for related organisations, consultants or students.

This is an interactive workshop held at ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre. This workshop is ideal for any manufacturers who are thinking about obtaining SALSA certification for the first time, or for manufacturers who already have SALSA certification in place and want support maintaining the standard.

Course outline as follows:

• How to register with SALSA
• How to access the relevant standards
• Understanding the requirements
• The audit process, including audit preparation and what to expect on the day
• How to close out non-conformances raised during the audit
• Common non-conformances, and tips on how to avoid them

Attendance costs

Depending on your company size and eligibility, attendance at these workshops can be partially or fully funded.

The cost for each delegate attending the workshop will vary depending on the size of the company they work for. This is determined by Welsh Government funding regulations.

In the workshop registration form, you will be asked to provide company Subsidy Control information for the past three years and confirm the size of your company. Please refer to your finance business team to ensure this information is accurate as it may be subject to audit.
