Introduction to Food Microbiology Workshop
Please note – registration for this event is only available for new and existing food and drink manufacturers based in Wales, not for related organisations, consultants or students.
Who can attend
QA’s, junior technical team members, NPD and/or HACCP team members, technical professionals who wish to refresh their knowledge and hygiene team leaders.
Introduction to Microbiology Workshop
In the workshop we will discuss the following:
· Groups of micro-organisms
· Growth and survival of micro-organisms in food
· Food micro-organisms of concern
· How to develop a food microbiological testing plan
· How to interpret microbiological test results
· Sources of information for microbiological guidelines
· Swabbing and environmental monitoring
Please note pre-enrolment information will be required prior to the event and you will receive a request for information before the workshop date.
This is a fully funded, interactive workshop held at ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre.
