Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Workshop
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Workshop is a structured approach in managing 4 main areas:
- People
- Product
- Process
- Premises
When GMP is managed well, it can drive continuous improvement, good behaviours and culture into food and drink manufacturers. Learners will understand how record and document the outcomes of GMP. This session will focus on what and who is involved in maintaining GMP and learners will understand the simple steps manufacturers can take to ensure GMP is managed efficiently throughout all areas and empowering staff to define as what good looks like.

What is Good Manufacturing Practice? – including key definitions
- The benefits of GMP
- 4 main categories – People, Process, Product and Premises (the 4 Ps)
- Links between HACCP prerequisites
- How to measure and monitor GMP
- Communicate to the team to improve site standards
- Top tips for GMP – we will explore common mistakes sites made when managing GMP and how behaviour and culture improve GMP standards.
These interactive workshops will be held at your manufacturing site to include the wider team and use live situations.
Attendance costs
Depending on your company size and eligibility, attendance at these workshops can be partially or fully funded.
The cost for each delegate attending the workshop will vary depending on the size of the company they work for. This is determined by Welsh Government funding regulations.
