Food Security Workshop: Root Cause Analysis

  • Suitable for supervisors and managers in all food manufacturing functions.
  • Members of staff involved in raising non conformances or resolving non conformances.

Food Security Workshop 6 : Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

The session will focus on the key requirements of handling and correcting issues identified in the food safety and quality management system (for example non-conforming products, internal audits, complaints, product testing etc.) detailed in BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9, and will provide delegates with an understanding of:

  • What is root cause analysis?
  • What does an effective corrective action process look like?
  • Consequences of getting it wrong
  • Techniques for understanding root cause analysis
  • The importance of verification of corrective and preventative actions to ensure effectiveness.

Please note pre-enrolment information will be required prior to the event and you will receive a request for information before the workshop date.

Module 6 forms part of the food security workshop series (1- 6). These funded, interactive workshops will be held at ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre in Cardiff.
