Building a Food Safety Plan (HACCP) Workshop
Please note – registration for this event is only available for new and existing food and drink manufacturers based in Wales, not for related organisations, consultants or students.

Start-up and micro business owners, new/junior members of a technical team needing to understand basic underlying controls required to manufacture safe food and drink.
Building a Food Safety Plan (HACCP) Workshop
Join us for an engaging and practical workshop designed to guide start – ups and micro businesses through the foundational steps of building a food safety plan (HACCP – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). This informative workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to HACCP, focusing on the key benefits, legal requirements, and the first five steps of implementation. Participants will explore why HACCP is a legal necessity in food production, how it enhances food safety, and will also learn how to start creating their own, bespoke HACCP plan.

Attendance costs
Depending on your company size and eligibility, attendance at these workshops can be partially or fully funded.
The cost for each delegate attending the workshop will vary depending on the size of the company they work for. This is determined by Welsh Government funding regulations.
In the workshop registration form, you will be asked to provide company Subsidy Control information for the past three years and confirm the size of your company. Please refer to your finance business team to ensure this information is accurate as it may be subject to audit.
