Professor Peter Sykes

As the Head of ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre, Peter is committed to ensuring ZERO2FIVE remains at the forefront of supporting the food industry in Wales.

Peter is a Professor in Environmental Health Practice and Innovation. As a former Head of the Centre for Health, Safety and Environment at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Peter has over 25 years’ experience in working with industry, delivering contract research and supporting innovation in business. Peter’s research interest in waste management has enabled him to publish widely in his field, present at international conferences and contribute to the development of industry guidance.
